Develop a world-class deep-sea port on the Andaman coast to serve as Thailand’s primary gateway to the Indian Ocean and enable direct access for large global shipping routes.

Action

• Design and construct deep-sea port capable of handling ultra-large container vessels (ULCVs)

• Develop multi-purpose terminal (container, bulk, liquid cargo)

• Integrate port with high-speed freight rail and inland logistics network

• Implement advanced port automation (smart yard, automated cranes, digital operations)

• Establish international-standard port services (bunkering, maintenance, transshipment)

Expected Output

• Direct connectivity to major Indian Ocean shipping routes

• Ability to accommodate large vessels without capacity constraints

• Increased cargo inflow from Middle East, India, Africa

• Strong positioning as western gateway of the Land Bridge

• ออกแบบและก่อสร้างท่าเรือน้ำลึกที่รองรับเรือขนาดใหญ่พิเศษ (ULCV)

• พัฒนา terminal แบบ multi-purpose (container, bulk, liquid)

• เชื่อมท่าเรือกับระบบรางความเร็วสูงและโลจิสติกส์ภายในประเทศ

• ใช้ระบบ automation ระดับสูง (smart yard, crane อัตโนมัติ, digital operation)

• พัฒนาบริการมาตรฐานสากล (เติมเชื้อเพลิง ซ่อมบำรุง transshipment)

Expected Output

• เชื่อมต่อโดยตรงกับเส้นทางการค้าในมหาสมุทรอินเดีย

• รองรับเรือขนาดใหญ่ได้โดยไม่มีข้อจำกัด

• ดึงกระแสสินค้าจากตะวันออกกลาง อินเดีย แอฟริกา

• เป็น Western Gateway หลักของ Land Bridge
