The framework aims to reposition Thailand from a commodity-based agricultural exporter toward becoming ASEAN’s leading bio-industrial, future food, and sustainable manufacturing hub.

Action

Develop a national bioeconomy ecosystem connecting agriculture, biotechnology, AI, food innovation, carbon economy, and green manufacturing into one integrated strategic platform

Accelerate AI-driven smart agriculture, precision farming, climate-resilient production systems, and sustainable supply chain technologies

Establish BCG industrial corridors linked with EEC, Southern Economic Corridor, logistics hubs, agro-industrial provinces, universities, and export infrastructure

Support future industries including future food, alternative protein, biomaterials, green chemicals, bioenergy, and biotechnology innovation

Build carbon economy infrastructure including carbon certification systems, carbon tracking, regenerative agriculture, and green export standards

Strengthen collaboration between farmers, startups, SMEs, universities, industrial sectors, and global technology partners to scale bio-industrial innovation

Position Thailand as ASEAN Bioeconomy Hub, Future Food Innovation Center, and Green Manufacturing Platform within future global sustainable supply chains

Expected Output

Thailand transitions from low-margin agricultural production toward high-value bio-industrial and sustainable manufacturing economy
